sanitation is not a flashy affair; it requires passion to
drive the agenda and a lot of innovations for the other actors
to appreciate its weight. This comprehensive understanding
of key sanitation agenda, policies coupled with fundamental
research enables us to forecast and provide the much needed
drive to translate IDEAS into ACTIONS.
Our ability
to advise on and execute community based level interventions
on sanitation and waste management gives us a clear advantage
as a social enterprise to raise and manage funds that generate
compelling livelihoods returns and environmental sustainability.
We bridge the gap between the worlds of policy and finance
to better deploy innovations and create value for our communities
by responding effectively to sanitation challenges.
TEAM'S PROFILE
David Kuria(B.Arch. JKUAT; MA EMP,Nrb in progress)
CHIEF EXECUTIVE; Architect David Kuria is an ASHOKA
Fellow. He has a vast experience in sustainable sanitation development,
innovations and programme design, monitoring and evaluations.
He is an author of a regional magazine, Waste Digest and a member
of International Solid Waste Association (ISWA).
Kamithi
Nganga (BA [hons], MA [EPM] Nairobi)
CHAIRMAN; Mr. Nganga has a vast experience in social support
and philanthropy; property development and management. He is
a specialist in eco-tourism and a lead expert on Environmental
Assessments. He has coauthored manuals and is a resource person
on Solid Waste Management.
Patrick
Kituta (B.Sc Environmental Science,Egerton)
Environmental Officer; Supports in Environmental Impact Assessment/Environmental
Audit, Social Impact Assessment, and Municipal Waste Management.
Keari
Dickson(B.Sc Civil Engineering,Nairobi)
Sanitation Officer; Supports sustainable sanitation development,
design and implementation.
