Such innovations includes the" Sustainable Development for all" initiative by our very own Wadongo who invented the 'Solar Lantern' that has been used as a source of light in the rural areas of Busia, Kakamega, Kilifi, Garsen, Marsabit and Migori.This innovation has cut on use of wood and kerosene as a source of light in the rural areas highlighting on environmental conservation as well as ensuring proper reading habits for the rural pupils.
